The authors are able to identify a number of factors (demographic, historical and clinical) that may predict who will need extra ventilatory support and a further subset who may need it within 24 hours of the onset of respiratory symptoms. Take a deep breath and review the data in this article because it may change how you follow and manage the infants with bronchiolitis in your patient population.
